Hello we are Davey and Wendy (The Duthies)! 

Together with our two dogs and cat, we are living since December 2007 in the beautiful mountains of Bulgaria. We always dreamed about moving abroad ... and then in 2006 we got to know the beautiful Bulgaria. We fell in love and decided to go for it. Our motto "Happiness is to love what you do and doing what you love! After we have seen a lot of villages we found our right place in the mountain. We have two houses in the village Govedartsi, the Holiday Chalet and our own house. 

Dave has his own business and focus on exports of furniture from Bulgaria to the Netherlands. Just like his father, Dave have always worked in the furniture industry. And old habits die hard. Beside, we enjoy the real Bulgarian life. 

We have a lot of sunshine, peace, space and nice contacts/friends in the village and in the town Samokov. Every morning Wendy walks with the dogs and visits the village shop, where everybody, all mornings, gets fresh bread or daily grocery. We praise our luck every day!
